It is green for go for Grassfinch! She gets the go ahead to run in Ascot tomorrow. Although there are 16 runners she has beaten a few of them before, and is second favourite 'on the tissue'. The soft ground will suit, and with luck in running she should go well - she is tough and always runs her race! Smart Exit is entered in Fontwell on Wednesday - only 11 entries, so hopefully the meeting gets the go ahead (it is waterlogged in places at the moment). As a precaution he has been entered in Taunton next Thursday as well. No local racing this weekend, with Huntingdon and Towcester both off. I will not be at Fences Farm tomorrow as I will be back at Twickenham to see England take on the Springboks, looking at the weather it looks like a good day to miss!!
