It was a very wet day in Haydock on Saturday, and little San Telm did us proud. Although proven on Soft ground,Heavy ground was an unkown, but they were slopping through it and our lad did us proud to finish a very brave 3rd, just beaten 6 1/4 lengths! It was a fabulous run against top opposition, and all of us, and jockey Tom O'Brien were delighted with him. He has come out of the race in good order, and will go again in about a month. Saturday night was the yards Christmas party, which was great fun, and made for a few sore heads yesterday! Thanks to everyone at the Cowpers Oak in Weston Underwood who made it such a great night!! Tannerman has been entered in a few races. 2 provisional chases at Leicester that have been put on in case the hurdle track is unraceable, a decision about which will be made on Boxing Day. He is also in at Doncaster on Saturday, and will have an entry in Fakenham on New Years Day - hopefully the rain will relent and he can get to run. We will go where the ground is at its best.
