Genny Wren is declared to run in Uttoxeter tomorrow afternoon. Their ground looks like being quick, with Charlie Moore the Clerk Of The Corse stating that he is watering to produce reasonable ground/going. Reasonable?? We will walk the course! A massive Well Done, but ultimately hard luck to Harriet, who has been competing in the Mitsibushi Grassroots eventing class in Badminton. Harriet prodeuced a super dressage test, and was absolutely perfect in the showjumping,and lead after the first two disciplines, only for her poor pony Thumper, who was the smallest in the competition by some way, to run out of stamina in the cross country over a course approximately 33% longer than his usual trip! A real shame, as if they had gone clear (as they always do) Harriet and Thumps would have won by 5 points!! A great effort and congratulations!! I keep on narrowing down the potential targets - everyday I put a line through a few - hopefully we will be left with an achievable short list over the weekend!!
