Friday 10 May

The shares in Nick Brown Racing are going very quickly - with John Rodgers and Jo Wheatley joining our happy band in the past couple of days! Both have been involved in ownership before, but have decided to continue their racing involvement with us. We are delighted they chose us, and it does highlight the great deal that we offer - with all year round jump racing for a mere £20/week (all inc). Please get in touch if you would like to join them! (07909 518902, info@nickbrownracing.co.uk). Ogee makes the trip to Market Rasen today. He has been in great heart at home, the trip and ground suit, but it is a very tight little heat - he will hopefully be placed. I am still doing the detective work on the horses due to go through the ring next week - and finding out plenty about the 4 remaining targets. With every nugget of info I glean the list gets shorter - but it is better to get the right one!! Just as an aside - if anyone fancies a cracking good night out - there is still a table available at The Broom Village Ball. It will be the second year they have put this Ball on and if it is anything like their debut effort, it is a truly fantastic night out. The event is at The White Horse in Broom - tickets are priced at £50/head (tables of 8 or 10, but part tables can be catered for). Last year this black tie do raised over £3000 for charity, and this year they are supporting Help For Heroes, and The Keetch Hospice. The auction prizes this year are, once again, outstanding with lots such as a week in a villa in Portugal, a hoilday cottage in the Scottish Islands for a week, Arsenal tickets, Twickenham tickets, Robbie Williams/Ollie Murs tickets and Spa breaks. Please get in touch if you are free on Saturday June 8th, to book your place at a great night - for 2 very worthy causes.
