Nice work - no issues. Just the feedback you want to hear when you have purchased a new one! It was always the plan with new lad, Guest Of Honour to give him a few days to settle in and then let him stride on up the gallop - just once - but enough to get to know him as such. He did just that this morning, and everyone was very happy with him. He breezed up very nicely with Ogee, and seemes to have no issues. A big part of the exercise is to check his breathing to see if he needed any attention over the summer, and I am pleased to say that he appears to be clear on that front. He will now have his shoes off, and go away fro a short summer break, before returning in July in preparation for a hurdling campaign in the Autumn. Amistress has been alloted an opening mark of 98 after her 2 runs in novices (a 2nd and a win), so she could well find herself in handicap company sometime next month!! Ogee is on course for a run in Stratford next month, The Fonz will have a proper set of blinkers on next time, as will his half brother E Major - it would seem as though the familiy members and next door neighbours have been swapping bad habits!
