After getting all excited about the Nick Brown Racing XI v Eversholt CC Charity Cricket Match yesterday - I omitted to tell everyone the start time - 6.00pm (hopefully the bar will be open at 5.30) Hog Roast will be good to go at about 7.00pm. It looks as though we will have another good turnout of owners and club members this year - so please let the sun shine!! The last few days have really seen things take off, with plenty of interst in the Racing Club and other share options. Yesterday we welcomed Sue into the fold, and Kevin doubled up his share in Omaruru with a share in the Club!! We are obviously thrilled with the uptake of the shares, but please be aware that the recent flood of enquiries came on the back of 1 days advert in The Racing Post - and next week we have a full 5 days - plus plenty more coverage on the Racing Post website, so if you are thinking of getting in touch about any of the horses that we have on offer you are better off not delaying too long - at this rate we will have to form a waiting list!! Amistress has her 3 entries, and the best option looks to be Uttoxeter on Wednesday - hopefully they will miss the forecast rain! Mrs Robeson and her brother look like having 2 runners at next weeks Royal Ascot, more about them after the weekend - but as a teaser - they could both run very big races!!
