Brendan Powell Jnr - who has really been at the top of his game recently, suffered the worst part of the jump jockeys life last night when he was unshipped in the mares novices hurdle and fractured his upper arm. He will be out of action for between 6 and 8 weeks! We wish him a speedy recovery! With Sam already sidelined with a back injury, Brendan had been booked to ride Tara Dancer on Tuesday - a quick re-think and after a chat with jockeys agent Dave Roberts we now have Paddy Brennan in the plate! I have tried to have Paddy on 3 of our horses and as yet is hasn't come off, so fingers crossed we will make it 4th time lucky! Another new Club member joined the fold yesterday - we wish John Dale all the best with his first venture into racehorse ownership with Tara Dancer and Guest Of Honour!
