I do not think we have ever been busier - the web-site hits are at record levels - generating plenty of interest in all the horses. There are now no shares left in Guest Of Honour!! And only a couple left in Omaruru - so if you want to get involved for just £400 plus £20/week (all inclusive) please get in touch as soon as possible. It was a lovely morning on Saturday - the perfect way for new man Mark to see the yard. Mark has taken shares (along with colleagues) in Omaruru and Guest Of Honour, and has also reserved his share of the 3 yr old filly (Tobougg x Forest Pride) that is down at Michael and Fiona's. Mark was able to see both Omar and GOH come past on the gallops on Saturday morning and they both looked in fantastic condition. We also got to see Ogee and Benefit Cut canter and both looked in great form. San Telm, Colebrooke and Smart Exit also trotted past, and like the rest seem in great form! After watching all the goings on at Fences Farm, we jumped in the car and popped over to Stewkley to see the filly. She is back out in the field, and looks really well. If Marks plans all come together, she will have new owners before not too long!!! Tara Dancer has had a bit of reschooling and will head down to Michael and Fiona's this week, where she will go in the field until we find a suitable home and second career for her. This is a very important part of what we do, and we take it very seriously, they all deserve the best possible chance to do something else, and we try to ensure that they go to proper homes where they are cared for, and used in another discipline. There are no better examples of that than Bobby Gee and Mattaking - both multiple winners for NBR Partnerships, and now both enjoying life doing different jobs!!
