Last year, many of you will remember that it was a tough job getting Benefit Cut 100%. He was continually falling foul of a low grade infection, and was really never at his best until the spring when he duly did what we all felt he was capable of, and bolted up in Kempton. For this reason his regime has been changed slightly, and he is undergoing checks before every step up in his work. As the vet was in today to scope Ogee before his engagement in Worcester next week, the opportunity was taken to scope BC as well, as he is ready to start quickening up in earnest. The good news is that he scoped 100%, so all seems to be going in the right direction with him! Ogee was clear to, so gets the go ahead to run next week.
