Sometimes I get ahead of myself. After confidently declaring that we had been lucky - and that Howard and Terence would be able to call upon the services of Tom O'Brien for their exciting prospect Benefit Cut in a couple of weeks - it now transpires they will not be able to use him. I was right yesterday - I had checked that Tom had got a ban - and on Sunday night it appeared he had incurred a 4 day holiday for careless riding - unfortunately it seems as though he also got a 2 day ban for his use of the whip which added to the 4 he had for careless, means he will be off games for the 28th. A decision on a suitable jockey will be made closer to the time. The yard now have a very decent roster of top class jockeys to call upon - and I am sure there will be no shortage of lads wanting to sit on this one!!
