Monday 21 October
All go this week. Today Stuart will collect the 3 yr old filly from Michael and Fiona's. She will have a few days to settle in before beginning her journey on the road to becoming a racehorse. She is very exciting, as she is a very correct young lady, from one of the best National Hunt families around. I have sold a few shares lately, but do have limited spaces left, so if you would like to reserve a place, or come and have a look at her, then please don't delay - get in touch quickly. The details of her partnership can be found on the For Sale page. A few were scoped on Friday, and all bar one were A1. The only one that needs a bit of medication and a short spell doing less work was Maypole Lass. Horses are like children, and when they change environment they are more than likely to pick up a sniffle or two - she will be as right as rain in 7-10 days. All the horses worked well on Saturday. San Telm has missed his engagements in Cheltenham last weekend, but has an entry in Fontwell on Wednesday, and will be in at Chepstow and Aintree at the weekend. Benefit Cut is in at Southwell on Wednesday. Colebrooke will be entered today for a handicap hurdle in Stratford on Saturday. San Telm and Colebrooke will not be inconvenienced by the wet weather, but BC would not want the ground to go too soft for him.
