A real shame about Guest Of Honour yesterday. At home when he is not suffering his problems he is a real work horse. He shows plenty of ability, and although we called him a few names after Huntingdon, it is not his fault, as it can't be a very nice experience for him! I will post on here any news about his replacement when I have it - as yet I have not heard anything regarding my offer. Buying bargains - as in any walk of life is always the hardest way of buying anything, and you need a fair amount of luck. With horses you need a fair amount of luck anyway, and although our larger syndicates only cost £20/week - it is still £20 of peoples hard earned money that we would rather not waste. For this reason we do not keep hold of horses with problems, or no winning chance and we try to replace them with something that will give them some proper fun!! Thanks to all our GOH owners for their understanding and patience - our luck will turn shortly!! A work morning this morning and Maypole lass worked well, all roads still lead to Aintree with her! This mornings mover and shakers in the handicap ratings are: Colebrooke +7 to 127, not unexpected, but life may be a bit harder for him from now on - clever placing will be needed!! (Photos of his Fontwell win can be seen at www.photoboxgallery/fontwellpark). Omaruru -3 to 105, and Smart Exit -4 to 99 - this gives us a chance with both!! Later this week we will have news of possible targets for a few of them.
