A glorious morning on the gallops on Saturday. Great to see John Bartlett and Bob Graham, who both popped in to see their horses work - both left very satisfied. Both have a share in Dawn Commander, who has just started to go a bit quicker and really impresses in his work - he looks very exciting! Bob saw Smart Exit do a super piece of work alongside Colebrooke with Benefit Cut travelling beautifully in behind. All of those three worked very well. San Telm did a couple of canters and will work properly tomorrow. The Tobougg filly did one canter as she is still getting over the sniffles, but is improving every day! Maypole Lass did one canter as she is on the easy list and will appear again on better ground at the end of next month. This weekend looks like being busy - Benefit Cut is entered in Ascot on Saturday - his chasing debut - the ground is likely to be testing, and this beautifully moving horses isn't guaranteed to act on it, but we will try and see. Smart Exit and San Telm are both in at Towcester, SE over fences and ST back over hurdles. It could be a fun couple of days!!
