Tuesdays is work morning, and all went very nicely. Dawn Commander was the one that caught the eye - he is starting to go up the gears, and was very impressive upsides flat winner Mr Maynard. DC schooled yesterday and was very good (over hurdles), he seems to have fitted in just fine at Fences Farm and is a very exciting addition to the ranks. He will be ready to run in about 4 weeks! San Telm proved his well-being, so, he is fine to take up his engagement in Towcester on Sunday -IF the team think that the ground is suitable. ST is a little horse that always gives of his best, and we learnt last season that he can really bottom himself on heavy ground (he was not seen again after running on heavy in December). There are a number of races for him over the course of the next 10 days, Sunday is the first option. benefit Cut is still on track for Ascot on Saturday, but even there, they would like the ground to dry a little. Smart Exit is lined up to go to Towcester on Sunday - but will have entries going forward in case the meeting is lost to the weather.
