Tuesday 21 January

It looks like there will be runners on Thursday and Friday this week. Colebrooke has an entry in Fakenham on Thursday. There are not many entered, but it will be very hard to beat Restless Harry if he turns up as he runs off a mark of 129 (122 + 7lb penalty for winning last week) but has been raised 19lb by the handicapper this morning so is in effect 12lb well in!! Despite this, you should never be scared of one horse, and it is the right race for Colebrooke so he will go there. Josh Moore looks like riding, and w may well adopt some slightly different tactics. San Telm has entries on both Thursday and Friday, and at the moment he looks like going to Huntingdon for a Pertemps Qualifier on Friday. Again, fewer entered than expected, and it is for a big pot, so worth a look. It will be his first start back over hurdles for a while as he looks to have lost all confidence over fences. He is in great form, and his hurdle mark looks attractive - the trip of 3m 2f will be a step into the unknown though. The two runners from the weekend, Benefit Cut and Smart Exit have gone for a slosh through the mud today and seem in good shape. The photo on the right is Smart Exit jumping the last, thanks to Gavin James of GJ Multimedia for supplying the pic, and for all owners if you got to http://www.gjmultimedia.co.uk/raceday_galleries/towcester-19-01-14/index.html you will be able to view all the photos that Gavin took on Sunday and order some for prosperity! There are some cracking shots!! Dawn Commander continues in great form and will be ready to run in about 3 weeks. There are a number of options for him in February, and we are very excited to start him off!! The Tobougg filly will start to do some faster work this week, and is still on course for her bumper debut in February - limited shares are still available (07909 518902 for further details).
