More bloody rain on the way!! Smart Exit has entries in Chepstow (Weds) and Fontwell (Thurs) this week. Chepstow as fine yesterday, but the vibes from Fontwell are that they may struggle if the forecast is correct! Benefit Cut has an entry in Leicester on Thursday. It is a third run over fences that is required to qualify him for a spin in the handicap at the Festival in March, and he also gets to run with just a 7lb penalty as he is very likely to go up by nearly double that tomorrow! Glad to report that the plan is still on track as he has scoped clean this morning. Stuart and the team will monitor him this week - BC will not need to do too much as he is very fit, and hopefully the rain will not effect plans and he can go on Thursday! Saturday, John Bartlett popped up to his his lad Dawn Commander work. DC worked second lot alongside Smart Exit who rather caught the eye, with San Telm in behind. ST has been entered in the Pertemps qualifier in Haydock on Saturday, and all being well is an intended runner! Maypole Lass has enjoyed her brief easy spell, and it was back to work for her on Saturday and she worked very well. Colebrooke had an easy day after his run on Thursday. We have two suggestions in for names for the filly - a decision should be reached by the end of play tomorrow - they are both good ones and it is up to the owners to decide which one they like the best now!!
