Wednesday 16 April

The crop will soon be in the ground!! Hopefully just in time to enjoy some spring racing. Smart Exit is in rude health, and as he just didn't face the visor last time he has been kept going in the hope that we get a drop of rain. Although it is currently dry, he has been entered in a chase in Towcester on Sunday in the hope that the heavens open. We will continue on with him in the short term, and he will have entries going forward, but we will not go on for ever, and if we do not look like getting any rain we will draw stumps and he will head off on holiday. San Telm, who's last run was also a non event has been kept going as well, he has schooled very well this week, and scoped 100% yesterday. He will have entries over the course of the next couple of weeks, but also needs rain. Dawn Commander is in rude health again, and the plan remains to go to Chepstow on the 25th. It looks like a busy weekend, with Mr Maynard, Carolina Wren, Ereyna and Inca Dove having multiple entries all over the country. (Smart Exit is also in at Market Rasen on Monday).
