Another sale this week - and another 70 odd horses to go through to see if we can't unearth another gem for NBR! The Brightwells May sale in Cheltenham has been a happy hunting ground in the past, as I purchased Ringa Bay from the ring who promptly went on to win his next six races!! Here is hoping lightening strikes twice. There looks to be a few nice types on offer, and if we can get it right we should come home with a nice one, although we will not be bringing one home for the sake of it - I would rather continue to search than bring something home that I am not happy with!! Genny Wren got caught out by the rain softened ground on Friday evening in Towcester, she has been dropped a couple of pounds, and should be seen in a much better light on a quicker surface! Benefit Cut, San Telm and Smart Exit are all getting wet in the field - can't be the nicest of holidays! They are at Fences Farm at the moment, but will move over to Ann and Colin Garratt's Ringtail Farm later this week when it dries up a bit! They always do well there!Dawn Commander is on good terms with himself, and Native Princess has had her last round of shockwave treatment, and is now out in the field. She will be back to work in July.
