There may not be many horses left in work at Fences Farm, but boy are they in great form!! Mr Maynard the latest to grace the winners berth in Uttoxeter last night. Those of you who read this page will know that there were genuine reasons for his poor display last time in Market Rasen, and that a good run was expected last night. MM had been in cracking form at home, the only doubt was the step up to two and a half miles, although Stuart and I both felt he would benefit from it. The low sun last night turned it into a pretty long bumper - well almost - just 4 hurdles were jumped, which would put more emphasis on stamina, but it did not stop the brave little chesnut, who galloped all the way to the line for a comfortable success. A very interesting and rare fact about the winner - he is owned, trained and bred by Mrs Robeson, who just to finish things off nicely bred the sire and the dam!! Some feat!! And one that has rarely been achieved I would imagine!! In fact the only thing she didn't do last night was ride it herself!! The team are in fantastic form with 4 winners already this season from just 10 runners - a startling 40% strike rate!! Surely now is the time to get involved in ownership with the team at Fences Farm - and hopefully, if all goes well this afternoon, there will be a chance for a very reasonable capital sum plus just £20/week. Please phone 07909 518902 or email info@nickbrownracing.co.uk for further information. There are only limited places left - so don't delay!!! Get among the winners!!!
