Genny Wren was disappointing in Southwell last night, but after a mistake in the home straight her wind caught her out, and she struggled. She will sport a tongue tie the next time she runs! New boy Cloonacool should be arriving from Ireland this morning, and looks like having quite a reception committee on Saturday when a large crowd of folks have booked their place to come and see him parade. His details have now gone on the For Sale page, with Timeform comments, and the video of his dam running second in the Triumph hurdle. Please be aware that there are only very limited spaces left in this syndicate, with a huge number of shares being reserved before we even got the horse - so don't hang back if you are interested - there is a maximum of 25, and they are available strictly on a first come first served basis!! Yesterday I posted a photo on twitter, and made a little competition - the first person to correctly recognise the horse in the photo received a mystery prize at the Cricket Match a week on Friday - do you know what - nobody got it - the fellow on the right is well known to all of us - and is in fact our dear old friend KIKOS. Kikos was a star for us, and gave the club members some memorable days out! As you can see, he looks a million dollars, and is enjoying his retirement down in the Cotswolds, where his old pal Sam Jones met him earlier this week. Sam sent us the photo!
