Please remember that it is our annual Owners evening on Friday. Thanks again to Eversholt CC who will be hosting the annual Eversholt CC XI v Nick Brown Racing XI. Play is scheduled to commence at 6.00pm, with a bar and hog roast. The proceeds from Stuart Hunters finest Hog Roast will go to the Injured Jockeys Fund as usual! Hopefully we will get a few jockeys lined up to be there, although some are away that day! The evening is always a lot of fun, and a good chance for owners to get together and have a natter about their horses over a pint or two. The weather looks like it should be OK, although there is a wetter spell lingering about at the end of the week - hopefully it will miss Eversholt again. In the event of there not being any cricket we will still have a super evening, with a game of rounders on the outfield again, like last year, and a good party, so please don't put off coming if there is a bit of rain in the air, or there will be a lot of hog for us to eat!! All are welcome, including non members who enjoy a bit of cricket, pork, and a pint or two - it would be lovely to see some new faces, and raise money for the Injured Jockeys Fund!! Cloonacool has had his last bit of exercise, and will go up the field and join some new friends for a week or two of R&R. He will return to work in 2-3 weeks. All the others are making the most of their time off, although the flies are starting to get a little bit of a bore!
