Friday 15 August

Our number one jockey Josh Moore called yesterday to see how the horses were, and to give us an update on the surgery that he had performed on his shoulder recently. Stuart was pleased to report that the horses were all in flying form, and Josh was even more pleased to report that his shoulder needed less work done on it than they had first feared, and due to him not needing a bone graft on the area, he should be back riding sooner than originally planned, although he will not no a firm date for a week or two, after his specialist has had a chance to assess him! Good news for Josh, and good news for us - as he is a top bloke and we can't wait for him to be on board our horses this winter!! The colours for the new partnership have been reserved, so next week we should be able to crack on and get the rest of the registrations started! The journey begins! We have a few folks coming up to see their horses tomorrow, which will be fun, and we may just find ourselves up the pub for a spot of lunch afterwards - as Stuart is away and I will not have to buy him beer! Good luck to Harriet this weekend as she competes in her first 1* Event. Taking place over the course of the next three days, she has already completed her dressage test which she thinks has gone well, and we wish her luck in her cross country and showjumping!!
