Monday 5 January

John Bartlett had a double helping of the Fences Farm scene on Saturday. In on Saturday morning, he saw new boy Paddy The Deejay consolidate on the nice piece of work he had done mid week, and go very nicely in front, with Smart Exit work in behind. PTDJ, looks like a talented, relentless galloper with a gear or two - a good mix, and work rider Emma is impressed, and it takes a bit to do that! He has an entry in Huntingdon on Friday. Also in on Friday are Reyno and Inca Dove. Smart Exit is in great form and is heading to Chepstow on Jan 16th. Benefit Cut appears in rude health again, and has been entered in Kempton on Saturday. 10 entries and a tight race, but he seems well. San Telm and Dawn Commander continue their recovery from a spell on the sidelines and look well. We saw John again on Saturday night, when he and wife Victoria joined a few owners and Club members who came to the Fences Farm Christmas Party, at the Cowpers Oak in Weston Underwood. A good night was had by all, and a few sore heads were about on Sunday morning. Thanks to those who turned out - I hope you all enjoyed the evening!
