Monday 9 March

Saturday morning was lovely for the weather, and we had a fair few folks in to see new boy Bold Conquest. We sold another few shares over the weekend, and they are going fast - he has been very well received! (Don't miss out - call me on 07909 518902 to book you share)! First lot, Fiona brought Brackloon High and a galloping partner for his last piece of work before he runs in the Foxhunters in Cheltenham. Owner rider Andrew Barlow filmed the piece of work on his helmet cam, and this can be seen on our Facebook page. Brackloon worked in behind San Telm and Ereyna. San Telm is in fine form, and will be out later this month. He can be seen (nearside) below) Later on Benefit Cut had his first canter in a hood, and he took to it well. He looks in great order, and after he had cantered Di was in to give him another session of light therapy to ease tight muscles and aid in their repair after his run. He is responding well to this treatment. The vet was also in on Saturday, and he gave the go ahead for Dawn Commander to be ridden again. It is a case of suck it and see with regard to his cut, as it may open up again, but he needs to be got going again to stay on track. He is good order. Mister Miyagi runs in what looks like a decent little bumper in Stratford this afternoon for Ben Turener and Jay Tabb - we wish them and the Skelton team the very best of luck.
