Wednesday 22 April
Dawn Commander has been declared in Warwicks £20,000 feature staying handicap hurdle tomorrow where he will take on just 3 rivals. A quick look back through his form would suggest that the fewer opponents he faces the better he runs, so after not getting into it in Aintree, he has dusted of a few spots and should be ready to run well tomorrow. Hopefully he will run a big race as one of his owners Mark Beal will be celebrating his 50th birthday at the track!! A win would be a nice present!! Bold Conquest worked well this morning with Kayla, and is on course for Uttoxeter on the 2nd. Benefit Cut is A1 after his run, and will have an entry in Aintree on May 15th. Maypole Lass has 2 entries on Friday - in Chepstow and Plumpton. Having gone through both heats the most suitable would appear to be Chepstow - she looks to be on a handy mark off of 108, and the 3 miles on quick ground should be right up her street!
