Good to see John and Sue Spiller at Fences Farm this morning - they endured a nightmare journey down from Leicestershire to see their girl Native Princess work this morning, but at least she gave them something to take their mind off of traffic jams! NP worked upsides recent Uttoxeter scorer Bold Conquest, and worked really well. In the clip below, Maypole Lass (Uttoxeter Saturday), worked on the far side of Michael and Fionas Fort Gabriel, with Bold Conquest (near side) and Native Princess in behind. Stuart rode BoC, and he was delighted with him - he heads to Stratford on Sunday, and Megan thought, like I did, that it was the best piece of work we have seen from NP! She will have another good piece of work on Saturday, and then will start having entries in Mares Bumpers, the first of which is in Worcester on the evening of Friday 22nd May. If we deem Worcester to be unsuitable, due to ground, opposition or both, she has options the following week. There are still a couple of shares available in Native Princess - she is already placed in a bumper, and looks to have improved since she last ran before Christmas! She has an outstanding pedigree being a half sister to 6 bumper winners, many of whom went on to command high ratings over obstacles. Please take a look at her on the For Sale Page, and give me a call on 07909 518902 for further details. Benefit Cut is on tick over ahead of his run in Aintree on Friday evening, he schooled this morning, and was his usual impressive self. Dawn Commander has had a few days in the field, but cantered this morning, and will have an entry in Warwick next Wednesday. We will see what the ground is like, and if suitable and as long as he is OK, he will go. Tune in tomorrow for news of this years Charity Cricket Match - the date is in the diary - so get dusting off the whites!!
