Maypole Lass is declared in Uttoxeter tomorrow afternoon. She had the option of making her chase debut, but there looked a couple of decent sorts in there with previous chasing experience, so when it became clear that the hurdle would split, she was declared to run in that. There are 12 in her division, and she would have a decent chance, although as we keep pointing out she is still a maiden, although the form of her last run in Utooxeter is working out well. She looked all over the winner that day, and with a safe passage tomorrow, should be on the premises again. A change of lifestyle for a few today - Cloonacool, Bold Conquest, Christmas Twenty and Reyno have all had their holidays terminated and are back in a stable. For them the hard work starts - Cloonacool, Reyno, and Christams Twenty will have a full month (plus) of walking and trotting, but as BC hasn't been out too long, and was just having a little break, he could return to cantering slightly sooner. Having seen them all up the field last week, they all look in fantastic order! Watching them, it was very evident that Cloonacool was the boss of the lot - he kept them all in order, and what ever he decided went! He was certainly 'Top Dog'. I have to say that Christmas Twenty looks fantastic, and I am really looking forward to seeing him make his debut in late summer. He looks to have heaps of class about him, and the girls in the yard were saying that they were anticipating a few 'fights' as to who gets to ride him! Native Princess has an entry in Worcester on Sunday. She has come out of her Bumoer win in grand order, but with the ground currently Good To Firm in Worcester, she would need some rain to take her chance - and looking at the forecast, that looks unlikely. We will have to be patient and wait until July!! The way she has schooled both on the turf and the all weather, she looks like she will be worth waiting for!!
