This week is the prestigious Tattersalls Derby Sale in Ireland where the pick of the 3 yr old National Hunt crop come to market. I have been watching the sale closely ad have just seen a 3 yr old by Milan out of an unraced half sister to our very own Native Princess sell for 55,000. This boys half brother Copy That, was purchased at the same sale last year for 66,000 by Kieran McManus, the son of Legendary owner JP, and he recently won his maiden hurdle in Tipperary. So the top boys like the family and are willing to pay top money for them, which just goes to show what a superb broodmare prospect Native Princess is now that she has won and been placed in bumpers!!
