It was a glorious morning up at Fences Farm yesterday. And all the horses are looking in fantastic order. After breakfast we were joined by Pat and Patsy Fitzgerald, and Ollie Harris and his partner Kristin. Pat and Patsy have a share in Cloonacool, and Ollie has a share in Bold Conquest. Unfortunately Cloonacool had done his bit before breakfast, but I can report that he is fantastic form, and looks great. Bold Conquest, Christmas Twenty and Native Princess were all asked to stride on after breakfast, and as you can see from the clip below they all went really well. (BC nearside, CT far side, and NP in behind). Bold Conquest is in fantastic form and is full of himself, his break has done him the world of good. Christmas Twenty continues to impress, and is making life look easy at the moment, and Native Princess, who also benefitted enormously for a short break, is also in flying form, and looks to be continuing on an upward curve! BC will head to a beginners chase in Uttoxeter in about a month, CT will be aimed at a bumper in Southwell in early September, and Native Princess should be ready for a mares novice hurdle in Fontwell on August 25. Third lot and San Telm had a couple of gentle cnters past us. He is feeling like a 2 yr old, and is moving great - remember there is still a 1/4 share available in him - so get in touch if you would like a share in this most honest and likeable little hurdler! Smart Exit had some light therapy yesterday - just to ease some aching muscles he got from being suspended, upside down during his recent breathing op. Dawn Commander has spent the last couple of nights in his stable after he managed to get a small infection in his foot - only DC!! Savingforvegas has settled in well, and has begun pre-training, and she was joined down in the isolation unit yesterday morning by a new face. Wolf Of Windlesham has arrived. This gorgeous looking 3 yr old is by top sire Mastercraftsman, and is a half brother to Group 3 winner Fat Choy Ichiban. He has both size and scope, and looks like a cracking dual purpose prospect. With one arriving, we say goodbye to another - Maypole Lass has been sold, and heads off for a short break, and to continue her career with another yard, she is tough sound and honest and we wish her new connections the best of luck with her!!
