I hope you are all enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend. We had a terrific morning at Fences Farm yesterday morning. Before breakfast Christmas Twenty led a couple of others in a canter before doing a super piece of work. CT is ready to make his debut for The Oakley Partnership in a bumper in Southwell on Wednesday. As you can see from the clip below, he really looks the part, and should have a bright future! Also out before breakfast was last weeks winner Native Princess, who, after a few days off went for a nice hack around the farm. She was reported to be in great form, and has come out of her race bouncing! After breakfast we had plenty of visitors, Alan Gibson was in, Alan has a share in Dawn Commander, Cloonacool, and Bold Conquest. He was joined by Claire (Native Princess, San Telm, and Bold Conquest) Emma and her father (DC, Bold Conquest, Cloonacool), Adrian (Bold Conquest) bought his Mum to see his boy, Bob Graham (DC, Bold Conquest, Clonacool, and Smart Exit) and Chris Tombs (DC and Clonacool) joined the party as well! They all got to see Cloonacool work really well with Reyno, with Kayla catching the eye in behind. Cloonacool will go down to Lambourn in about 10 days for an away day gallop. Third lot We were joined by Julia Shayler who was in to see her boy Smart Exit doing 2 canters. SE looks really well, and is in great form with himself. He cantered with San Telm and one other. San Telm looks in great form, and is on really good terms with himself. SE and ST will start to do some quicker work in about 10 days time.
