Sunday 20 September
A misty start to things for first lot yesterday, but once again, all the horses looked magnificent and worked equally well. First lot out in the mist included Christmas Twenty who went really well in behind, along with both San Telm and Smart Exit who came up in rear, but both looked in super form! After breakfast, it was great to see Peter, Ken Alan, and 'Posty', who were in to see their horses. They got to see Cloonacool work really well, working just in behind, he joined the front horse in good style and looks in good heart ahead of his planned run on Saturday. Also out second lot were Native Princess and Bold Conquest, and these two worked upsides and worked really well. Hopefully enough rain will fall on Warwick to allow BC to run on Tuesday, but if not his next option is a Beginners Chase in Worcester on Friday. Native Princess will wait for Bangor On Dee on October 1st - but before that she will have to show herself off to a prospective new owner tomorrow evening - I am sure he will be pleased when he meets her, and her form is rock solid!
