Wednesday 2 December

Start of a new month, and a time to look at plans for the coming weeks. I have had a chat with Stuart, and we have identified a few targets. Smart Exit is in fine form, and will take his career high mark of 116 to Towcester on December 17th - this has been the plan for some time, hopefully Cieran Gethings will be able to ride again, as they seem to get on well, and Cierans claim will be even more important! Cloonacool will has options in Doncaster on the 11th, Ascot on the 18th (if the handicapper will relent with a pound) and Haydock on the 19th. All Novice Chases - we will see how the ground is at each course. Sneaking Budge will head to Warwick on 10th. Josh Moore is in to school him in the morning. Bold Conquest will wait until the Christmas/New Year period, and will has options in Doncaster on the 29th, and Warwick on the 31st. Christmas Twenty worked really well yesterday, and will run in Huntingdon on Sunday. Savingforvegas will go hurdling, and we will look for a mares race later this month. She will be aimed at a nice mares race later in the season. San Telm has worked really well this morning, and Stuart and I will have a look for a race for him - he seems to have got over his recent Uttoxeter exertions well. Good luck to the team with Focusing and Sage Grouse this afternoon in Ludlow. Native Princess will make the short move to The Elms Stud in the next couple of days - she is getting very full of herself after her box rest, and needs to be turned out in a paddock for a few hours each day to get the freshness off of her. She is bucking and kicking around the walker, and could well do herself another mischief if she doesn't get to relax out in a paddock. She is still on the market, and will have an entry in the NH Breeding Stock sale in Doncaster in late January if a customer cannot be found for her in the meantime.
