Tuesday 5 January
A great 3 days for Nick Brown Racing and Stuart Edmunds and his hardworking team! Sneaking Budge a comfortable winner on a Sandown Saturday card - showing a fantastic attitude in heavy ground - jumping for fun, and showing a deal of promise for the future, and then Cloonacool showing he is a class act in Ludlow yesterday. 'George' is a model of consistency, and has only run one indifferent race for us. All of his jockeys have said what a suoer chaser he would make and yesterday he took a big step in that direction. On just his second chase start, we asked him to give upwards of 10lbs to all of his rivals, and he handed them a very hollow beating. Josh bided his time early, and despite the pace at the start being akin to the Grand Annual, C still took a bit of a grip. He settled eventually, and jumped right through to share the lead half way down the back. At this point Josh said the opposition just couldn't live with him, and he was still taking a pull out of him turning in. He took it up 2 out, and despite running down the last, and idling on the run in - won easily. He seems fine this morning, and we look to have him out again in late Jan or early Feb - when a rise in grade looks on the card. Back to Sneaking Budge - I am delighted to say that he is now sold out! But if you feel you have missed the boat - then don't despair - I have 1 share left in Bold Conquest, and am also looking to secure another horse to be syndicated in 4% shares. I will post details when we have secured something - but in the meantime if you would like to be considered for this new horse then please feel free to add your name to the list, so that I know you are interested. Text me on 07909 518902, or email info@nickbrownracing.co.uk - as you have seen we syndicate horses that get you to the winner enclosure! We will never waste money, and you will never find yourself paying for a horse that will not deliver!! Trust us to make your dreams of owning a winner come true - we're good at it!! Get in touch today!! (Thanks to Jeremy Bartlett for the photos).
