Not every day you get to do it - but today we decided to take the bull by the horns and enter Cloonacool in both The Arkle, and the JLT Novice chases at The Festival. He will not remain in them after the next confirmation stage - unless he was to do something super in his next run. That could be this weekend in Doncaster, where he holds 2 entries. His scope has been brought forward to tomorrow lunchtime, so we will know where we are with him by tomorrow afternoon. He will only go at the weekend if he is 100%, and a scope is the only way to know definitely. He feels in the form of his life - so fingers crossed!! The vet will also have a look at Sneaking Budge, who is now walking out sound for very short, but frequent walks, although his hind leg remains swollen. Native Princess goes through the ring early tomorrow evening. I will set a reserve on her when I get to the sales tomorrow morning, but it was heartening to know that the sales company and myself, have her valued at around the same figure. Smart Exit and Savingforvegas will head to Warwick on Thursday, and San Telm will be of to Doncaster on Friday, where Charlie Deutsch will take the ride, and claim a very valuable 5lbs.
