Friday 11 March

Yesterday both San Telm and Bold Conquest were staying at home. This morning, with the ground having dried to soft in Market Rasen, San Telm was declared. It looked like the race was likely to cut up, and with the drying ground we popped him in - and just 5 are declared. Josh Rides. Hopefully ST will make up for a wasted trip to Doncaster last weekend! He is in fine form, and the nosebleed of last Saturday amounted to nothing! The ground in Warwick and Chepstow didn't look like drying up enough for Bold Conquest, and we will keep our powder dry with him and look for both chases and hurdles in the future. The heavy ground in Chepstow hold no fears for Smart Exit, and he takes his chance in the 9 runner Conditional Jockeys Chase that opens the card. He is in fine form, and this has been a target for a while. Lizzie Kelly is booked to ride. Lizzie also gets the leg up on Reyno who also goes to Market Rasen for a conditional jockeys hurdle on Sunday. New boy Visible Light is entered in Towcester next Thursday. He has been going well at home, and from what we see, he should be suited by the Towcester hill.
