Apart from 3 - all the horses are now cantering. The three that were last back from their hols, Sneaking Budge, Wolf Of Windlesham and Pine Warbler are the only three that are yet to canter. Good to see Johns, Bartlett and Bird, along with Tom and Ben this morning. Second lot Cloonacool (top pic), Reyno, Bold Conquest and Pull Together cantered. All look fab. Brendan Powell was in yesterday and he schooled a few. I'm told he also had a sit on Pull Together and liked him - he has developed into a big lad, and will start off in bumpers next month - an exciting prospect! Cloonacool is in fine form, as is Bold Conquest. Third lot we saw Molly Childers canter. She went off the top twice with Focusing, and both looked in fine fettle. MC took a good grip on her second time up, and really looked to be enjoying herself. Having been second in an Irish Point to Point, and a half sister to 2 black type performers, she has all the attributes of being a very good mare, and hopefully she will live up to everyones expectations of her! I think that we have some really nice horses for the winter, these along with a host of nice ones that are in the other stables at Fences Farm, and it could be a good season!!
