Apasionado schooled for the second time since he arrived from across the Irish Sea this morning and was once again very good. He schooled alone the first day, but was upsides Cloonacool this morning and was equally impressive. The dry spell has meant Stuart has shelved plans to run Pull Together this weekend. His owners are going to have to be just a little more patient, but he is a really nice prospect, and will, I'm sure, be worth waiting for. He will have an entry in Market Rasen the weekend after, but if they get no rain he will wait for some juicy ground. Stuart rode Molly Childers this morning and reported her in fine form. She made had been making a bit of a noise this autumn, having not done so in the spring, and has had her wind tinkered with. After the op she has just suffered with a bit of mucus again, but now that she is clean she is in fine form and silent! So it is all systems go with her. She is clean, healthy and well, and will now start work in earnest, and will not be too far off a run!! Stuart said again this morning that he still really likes her - she too is very exciting!! Fifteen hundred horses entered in the Tattersalls Horses In Training Sale at the end of the month - I have spent this week going through them all, and have a narrowed down list. Some smashing prospects for a range of budgets - lets hope they don't limp when we get there!! I will be adding to the ranks with at least one new horse (hopefully), and we may even look at a little project for the flat over the winter - you see - I did enjoy Chelmsford!!
