Wednesday 2 November
The new girl from Germany arrived yesterday evening at 8.30, having left home at 5 O'clock in the morning! Despite that she arrived i good heart and has settled in really well. She cantered this morning, and Jo who gets to ride them all for the first time loved her! Jos is a good judge, and she said that Chandos Belle gave her the same feel as Dawn Commander - so she sure looks the part! I am really pleased to have her, and as long as her schooling is up to scratch - she will be aimed at the Listed Fillys juvenile hurdle in Aintree in December. She is a really exciting prospect, and there has already been considerable interest in her. If you would like to be involved in her then please give me a call on 07909 518902 or email nickbrownracing@gmail.com, but be quick as she will not be on the market for long!! Stuart headed to Chepstow, but neither horse will run as the ground is just too quick!! Cloonacool will not run in Huntingdon next week, as a scope yesterday showed that he needs a bit longer to recover from Ascot. Apasionado does have an entry there, and he worked really nicely this morning, in behind Sneaking Budge who worked with Wolf Of Windlesham - both of whom worked really well as well!! SB will continue to have entries going forward to try and get some juicier ground for him, although it looks a long way off at the moment. He does have an entry in Kempton on Monday as well as Sandown on Sunday. Molly Childers cantered today in front of her owner Claire, and went well, she is entered in Lingfield on Tuesday, Bold Conquest also moved well in fornt of 2 of his owners, Elizabeth and Michael. Elizabeth also has a share in Apasionado, but as I forgot to tell Stuart they were coming, he went out first lot, and they didn't get to see him out - ooops!
