Chandos Belle makes her hurdling debut in Doncasters 12.55 tomorrow. A Fillies Juvenile maiden Hurdle with 10 runners. CB is fit and well, and her last run on the all weather surface in Wolverhampton can be forgotten - it has transpired since her run there, that she was a sick filly, and certainly didn't handle the very quick surface there either. Since she has been feeling better, her homework has improved out of all recognition, and she now shows us what we thought she would be when she was purchased from Germany. Brendan Powell rides. Cloonacool is fine after his run in Kempton yesterday. The initial thought was that he needs to step up in trip, but after the next few days, when we are sure that all is well with him, Stuart and I will have a good chat, and put a plan together for him. This was going to be over fences after yesterdays run, but we need to keep an open mind about things, and no stone will be left unturned in efforts to get him back in the winners spot. The way he travelled yesterday in his race very much says that he still has it, we just need to find the way of getting his head in front. Paddy The Deejay runs in Leicester today - good luck to all of his connections. Maria's Benefit is now sold, we wish Paul the very best of luck with this very exciting prospect. MB ended up having a number of suitors, and Paul has taken the plunge - Brendan Powell had a sit on her this morning, and thought she was lovely - she will start off in a bumper in Doncaster next month, and will hopefully take a similar path to Molly Childers, and end up in the nice Mares bumpers later this season! There are a couple of shares left in Chandos Belle, and a couple in Land League, so don't delay if you are interested in getting involved in either of these nice horses!
