Good to see John Bird this morning, JB was in to see Tricky Silence, who has been bought in as a sub for Sneaking Budge. A strong second lot headed out, with Stuart on Land League at the head of affairs. Near side rear is the new boy Tricky Silence. The work was split into two groups - Land League, Tricky Silence whizzed off the top, with Domesdsay Book tucked in behind. All three did it nicely as you can see below. Tricky Silence Near side front) is fit and well, but this was the first time he had been asked to do this, and his sharpness will improve - but he has a lovely long stride, and is very athletic. Land League is upsides him on the far side, and Domesday Book is in behind. Also in this group were two who did a stonger piece of work from the bottom. Maria's Benefit can be seen on the far side of Chandos Belle. MB is in good form, and CB has entries in Uttoxeter on Saturday, and Plumpton on Monday. We have decided to to go to Plumpton on Monday, as the ground is slightly better there, and they have an extra 2 days and a dry forecast. It is also a mares race which will suit. She should run well,judging on how she has been at home! The vet treated Cloonacool yesterday, and we will wait and see how he comes out of that.
