The decision has been made, Apasionado goes to Doncaster tomorrow. I was looking at so many weather forecasts yesterday, it got silly! Kempton ground was good, but they are forecast 10-15mm of rain, so when Doncaster said their ground had dried to Good, it was a major factor in the decision. The race looked like cutting up as well, so we decided to hesd north. In effect it looks like a 2 horse race, with ourselves and Charming Zen both off of 11-12. Hopefully we can run well, and then we can make some decisions as to where we go next. Yesterday he was entered in The County Hurdle. This morning Apasuionado brezed ahead of his run in company with Kingsley. Paul Wells was in to see his horses, and we both really enjoyed seeing the 4 yr old Kingsley go really well with Apasionado. The video below shows second lot cantering, with Apasionado in behind. Also out second lot were Maria's Benefit and Land League. Both of these looked great when they breezed past. MB has an entry in Warwick on Friday, but it would need to dry. As you can see from the clip below, LL is in rude health! Third lot it was good to see Cloonacool really enjoy a spin in the jumps field. He gave Tricky Silence a lead over the baby fences, and he really enjoyed himself. TS is entered in Warwick on Friday, but like Maria, he would need it to dry up to take his chance.
