Going Fast, sums up everything at the moment! A couple of weeks ago I mentioned Whitwick Bloodstock Ltd on these pages. This is a company set up as an EIS Scheme, to trade in Bloodstock. There was considerable interest, and there are just 2 shares left! This very tax efficient investment vehicle has proved very popular, and we have already secured a gorgeous foal, with more to come over the course of the next few days! Today is the last day of May, and it will only be a couple of weeks before the first two horses come back in from their summer holidays. Cloonacool and Land League will return to their stables. Cloonacool has had a longer break than Land League after losing his way a bit last season. Hopefully the long break has done him good, and he will return to his old self. He will have his wind looked at in a few weeks, and then be aimed back at The Listed Prelude Hurdle in Market Rasen in late September. Land League has recovered from his heavy fall, and as he likes a sounder surface Stuart thinks it right to get him back in a shade earlier and prepare him for September when the ground will be suitable for him. It doesn't seem 5 minutes since they went out on their holidays - so to get a couple back in already is great!! We had a good few days in Doncaster last week - and tomorrow we are off to the Sales in Cheltenham.
