A good steady day of very welcome rain yesterday has freshened things up a bit, and laid the dust - but then what did we expect - the trainers caravan is on the road again!!! There seems to be a sale every week nowadays - this week the circus is parked up in Newmarket for Tattersalls July sale. This is a sale, where bargains can be found - but a great deal of care is needed in their selection. Today is a full day of broodmares and fillies with a breeding future. We may cast our eye over one or two - talking of which - if there is anyone out there who is bored enough to read what I put on here on a regular basis, that would be interested in joining a small scale breeding syndicate then please let me know. It is an idea I have been thinking about for a couple of years, and should the right broodmare come along - we could have some fun! The horses would be based at The Elms Stud in Denton, just south of Northampton, and regular visits would be arranged to see the mares and foals, along with regular photo and video updates.
