Brett The Vet was in this morning to scope Cloonacool and Land League. These two have been cantering for a few weeks now, and are at that stage when they are ready to go a bit quicker in their work. Stuart likes to have them scoped before he asks them any more serious questions, just to confirm that they are healthy and well before putting their systems under any sort of increased pressure, so after they cantered first lot they were done. Cloonacool was clean, and is ready to rock and roll. His scope also showed us a little bit of something we thought was there, and he will be heading off for a closer look at that down in Gloucestershire next week. Interestingly - it could explain a few things that have been puzzling us in the past. Land League was also clean, and both will stride on later this week, they both look fantastic in their coats - and I am sure that we are in for a really good time with both of them this winter! Our investment vehicle Whitwick Bloodstock Ltd, has been very well received and there is just 1 10% share left in that company now. WBL already have a number of quality foals and a yearling on it's books, and we are all very excited about the future with them.
