Queenohearts seems fine this morning, if a little shell shocked after her very encouraging run to be fourth on debut yesterday. She has been ready to run for some time, but we had to wait for some genuinely soft ground, so she had run up a little light. She will now have a few days to recover from her exertions and Stuart will hopefully be able to get a few pounds back on her. All of her owners have been so patient, and it looks very much as thought their patience will be rewarded. QOH herself will tell us when she is ready to run again, and hopefully we can find a mares bumper for her, on her favoured soft ground. It was interesting to see that her sire, Flemensfirth was responsible for three of the first four home in yesterdays heat - his progeny really do like to get their toes in! Sneaking Budge worked yesterday, and worked well. It is always one day at a time with him, and we will be having a look for races for him over the coming days. Pull Together will not be off to Fontwell tomorrow, as their ground has dried up too much for him - he is another that needs a softer surface. he could take up his engagement in Wincanton on Saturday, if their ground is suitable. Classic Ben will be heading to Sandown on Sunday, along with Maria's Benefit. Land League has had his first piece of work since his breathing operation, and unsurprisingly needed it quite badly. He will have another couple of bits of proper work and then we can be looking for races for him again - he could always revert to hurdles if there is a suitable race for him. Apasionado continues to please everyone, and his recovery continues. Molly Childers is on course for Towcester later this month. Kaloci is fine, and will make her hurdling debut next - we will look for races for her soon. Chandos Belle continues to recover from her stiffness and cuts after her run. She will have her wind done as planned when Stuart thinks the time is right.
