Sunday 11 February
A fun day in Warwick yesterday, where Sneaking Budge ran a bit better to be a close enough 6th in the concluding handicap hurdle. He ran on well from the back of the last, and will head down to the cotswolds for an overland scope in the middle of next week. We will just check out his wind, and if anything needs to be attended to it will be done. He seems fine this morning. Kaloci is declared to run in Plumpton tomorrow, she is in fine form, and will relish the challenge of carrying her penalty in very deep ground around there. She will have her work cut out, but she will do her best, and should run well. We will wait and see what the ground does before we decide to commit Molly Childers to her run in Towcester on Wednesday. If we think it is too soft, she will bypass the race, and head staright to Doncaster in early March.
