Wednesday 4 April
Molly Childers has an entry in Kempton on Monday. A 0-120 mares handicap hurdle over 3 miles should be right up her street. She is in great form, and should run a good race if the forecast is right and the ground dries up slightly. We are forecast a couple of drier days, so Uttoxeter should be fine to race on Saturday. Sneaking Budge will run in their opener. He too is in good heart, and hopefully he will put his best foot forward at the weekend. With a whole host of the winter horses being gently wound down ready for a summer holiday - we are all too aware that there will be a long time between now and October when they will be back on the track - so we are preparing to have a bit of summer fun with at least one new horse to run until the winter kicks in. Hopefully in the next few weeks we will be buying a horse to run through the summer - and we will have 25 shares available - at the usual rate of an all inclusive £25/week. This will be a way of having some fun over the summer - a period when the most often used phrase we hear is - 'It seems like an age since I had a runner' so this should help. There has been plenty of interest from those that I have mentioned this to, so if you would like to join in with a bit of summer fun - when we can go racing in our shirt sleeves, and enjoy a long cold drink on balmy evenings then please get in touch - 07909 5189092 nickbrownracing@gmail.com
