Fortune Forever

Fortune Forever
We had been waiting for the right horse for some time. I have had a small group of clients looking for a nicely bred athletic filly, and it took some time to secure the right one, and we were delighted to have secured this filly – with the added bonus that we had expected to pay slightly more for her.
This filly was purchased from the Tattersalls Ireland May Store sale – held in August 2021 due to the pandemic.
She is by a top sire in Soldier Of Fortune. This son of the great Galileo has amassed some very impressive stats as a National Hunt Sire. This filly is out of a daughter of the great Flemensfirth who is a wonderful broodmare sire himself. Her dam was unraced – but she is the half sister to Royal Rendezvous who was the winner of the Galway Plate – earning a RPR of 161 in the process. Her grand dam Novacella was a black type winner, winning races from 2m-2m5f – and was herself a half sister to the great Marcel.
She was broken in and pre trained with Jasion Maguire. after which she heaed to Fergal O’Brien. She was still maturing during her first season and all the jockeys that ride her at home were in agreeement - she should be put away for the summer and brought back in the autumn - which we duly did.
She retruned a much stronger filly, but she is from a family that do nothing but improve with age, so she was carefully campaigned last season, with a view to a succesful first season over hurdles this time round. Although she had a light campaign with just 4 bumper starts, she was placed in 3 of her four outings, and learned an awful lot in the process. It will stand her in good stead for the future. She will be suited to trips of 2m4f and beyond.
This share is only for sale due to the sad passing of one of her 8 owners.

Animal Wellness Action (Action) is a Washington, D.C.-based 501(c)(4) organization with a mission of helping animals by promoting legal standards forbidding cruelty. We champion causes that alleviate the suffering of companion animals, farm animals, and wildlife. We advocate for policies to stop dogfighting and cockfighting and other forms of malicious cruelty and to confront factory farming and other systemic forms of animal exploitation. To prevent cruelty, we promote enacting good public policies and we work to enforce those policies. To enact good laws, we must elect good lawmakers, and that’s why we remind voters which candidates care about our issues and which ones don’t. We believe helping animals helps us all.
The Center for a Humane Economy (“the Center”) is a non-profit organization that focuses on influencing the conduct of corporations to forge a humane economic order. The first organization of its kind in the animal protection movement, the Center encourages businesses to honor their social responsibilities in a culture where consumers, investors, and other key stakeholders abhor cruelty and the degradation of the environment and embrace innovation as a means of eliminating both.
The Animal Wellness Foundation (Foundation) is a Los Angeles-based private charitable organization with a mission of helping animals by making veterinary care available to everyone with a pet, regardless of economic ability. We organize rescue efforts and medical services for dogs and cats in need and help homeless pets find a loving caregiver. We are advocates for getting veterinarians to the front lines of the animal welfare movement; promoting responsible pet ownership; and vaccinating animals against infectious diseases such as distemper. We also support policies that prevent animal cruelty and that alleviate suffering. We believe helping animals helps us all.
