Tuesday 11 November
Bobby Gee did his final piece of work this morning, ahead of his intended seasonal debut at Cheltenham on Sunday, and I am pleased to say that he is ready to go for the weekend. He will also be entered for Market Rasen next week, and we will see how the land lies before declaring him for Cheltenham on Friday morning. As I have said we are all obviously keen to go to Cheltenham, but if the Market Rasen offers an easier option on his seasonal debut we may wait for that. Mattaking seems in fine form after his chasing debut at Huntingdon, and he has been entered for a chase at Leicester next Monday. They do not use the chase course through the summer, so it is never wartered, and often rides pretty quick through the early part of the winter, which will suit our chap well.
