Tuesday 3 March

Good news after Sundays outing - E Major seems fine. He appeared to be sound yesterday, and as usual will have a few days off to relax and he should be back at the races in about 3 weeks. He will need good ground or quicker, and will be kept to the minimum trip of 2 miles for now, despite the Racing Post suggesting that he needs a step up in trip - Jamie certainly said we should stick to 2 miles for now. Bobby Gee has an entry at Market Rasen on Sunday. He is in super form, and the entries do not look too bad, with only 18 in at the 5 day stage. We will need to see some rain at the course, so that he gets his favoured 'give', but they are due some today, so for once the weather gods could be smiling on us!! It will be a very busy weekend for one of his owners - Ben Turner - who on Saturday will be playing for his team Coventry City against non other than Chelsea, in what is definitly the biggest game of his career so far, and live on ITV1, Good Luck Ben!! Saturday looks like being busy for me as well - I will watch work as usual, and then head off to deepest Gloucestershire to watch Noble Rebellion the Point To Pointer I bought last year make his debut at the Duke Of Beauforts Point To Point at Didmarton - have no idea what to expect, but his trainer Tom Ellis is pleased with him and says that he did a good piece of work last Friday. I then leave Gloucestershire and head bak to a 40th Birthday Party in Central Milton Keynes - It will be a long day!!
